The Office of the Executive Scientist is responsible for enhancing the quality of science and health impact of research, funded by the SAMRC, with an emphasis on innovative and solution driven research. Specifically, the Office is responsible for organizing and conducting three SAMRC intra-mural reviews per annum, organizing writing retreats and workshops, and assisting researchers to apply for/raise extramural research funds.
